What is the purpose of an Assignment Book?

The Assignment Book is an important organizational tool. Your child will be expected to record the main assignments for each subject. Homework will be highlighted in yellow with completed and turned in work marked with a check mark. Students are encouraged to copy items every morning and at the end of each school day that I record on the assignment board in the front of our classroom. I do not require parent signature since learning how to record assignments and write notes to yourself is critical to your child's success in high school and learning to become responsible and organized students.

Below is an example of the assignment book pages.
