What is Acuity?
Acuity is a testing system for improving student achievement. Acuity provides assessments designed to inform teaching and improve student learning. Students at NES take Acuity as an ISTEP indicator. After students take the Acuity assessment, a report is generated to predict if the student will pass ISTEP.
Acuity is used for teachers to help them target specific state standards students are struggling with.
Through Acuity, teachers can assign students enrichment, re-teach actvities on unmastered skills as well as incorporate into lesson planning.
You can check out the IDOE or Acuity website to find out more about Acuity testing.
